"Eventually, the skills I learned to survive and recover, became the tools I use to thrive. "

Most stories of healing start the same: with hard earned lessons, fear, grief, or pain. My story started in that way but circumstances and repetitive patterns kept me from entering the second act. I felt as though the beginning of my journey would repeat itself endlessly. I spent 12 years in a loop of illness, of the mind and body, heaviness of heart, and longing for relief.

A Narrative of THRIVING.

Navigating the spectrum of loss, grief, pain, and fear I searched for solutions. Some worked and some made me feel much, much worse. It wasn't until I found mind-body medicine and functional nutrition that my true healing journey began.

Within 3 months of beginning a meditation practice the panic attacks dissolved. After one elimination diet my body began to heal and give me energy, clarity, and softness. I was able to start putting the pieces together and dream again.

Still, it felt like no one noticed my becoming. The moment some new blessed horror entered my life I crumbled. That led to doubts about what I was doing, and I would give up for a while.

There I was, back at the beginning- unsure what went wrong, unable to recognize any progress I'd made, resentful of my perceived failure, and oblivious to the biological mechanisms that perpetuated my relapses into despair.

With belief in my own capability and fear of burdening my few closest friends- I struggled and forged forward without the support I needed. I faltered many, many times. I cannot describe how desperately I wanted an ally- someone to see my soul striving. I needed a coach.

Yet with each lesson, I grew stronger. With every challenge, I gained a deeper knowledge of myself. I learned what choices I had, how to tap into a vast version of myself, and how to trust that. I learned how to commune with my deepest desires.

lost in a biological feedback loop...i needed a coach.

Those keys to changing lifestyle and actualizing  your personal human potential are what I wish to share with you.

I was steadfast but human. I wanted to move forward but couldn't see what was holding me back. So much time was wasted trying to find strategies that worked, core principles that could be relied on.

That's when I found root-cause medicine, functional nutrition, and mind body medicine.

Eventually, the skills I used to survive and recover, became the tools I use to thrive. Every day became a great game of optimizing habits and calibrating toward my highest human potential.

After studying to become a Functional Medicine Health Coach the scientific explanation of why some things worked, and others didn't, was revealed. Looking back at my journey many of the keys I found have names.

Those insights on how to effect lifestyle change and incorporate behaviors that support the actualization of your personal human potential are what I wish to share with you.
